Military Aviation Museum/Victory Rover Cruise

The Military Aviation Museum is home to one of the largest private collections of World War I and World War II era military aircraft in the world. Each of their planes has been beautifully restored to its prior military condition, using original parts whenever possible. Most of the planes are airworthy and flown at the museum during flight demonstrations and at air shows throughout the year. Some being the last flight-ready aircraft of their time, and all of them being one of a kind.

Victory Rover Cruise Enjoy a 2 hour cruise and discover the Sights of the Elizabeth River, Port of Virginia and the World's Largest Naval Base. The Victory Rover has cruised from Nauticus, Home of the Battleship Wisconsin, on the Downtown Norfolk waterfront since 2001. Enjoy plenty of comfortable seating, an air-conditioned enclosed deck, an open-air shaded upper deck, snack bar, and souvenir shop. Enjoy a 4 hour sampling of some of the best of the Historic area. Tour the Governor's Palace, Capitol, or Raleigh Tavern and learn of the debates that raged in the years leading to independence. Visit a trade shop or historic house and discover something about the everyday life of Williamsburg's 18th century residents. Choose from any of the exhibition sites open during your visit and take part in scheduled programs. At the end of the tour, you will have an opportunity to explore Merchant's Square to include restaurants for lunch and unique shops for that perfect gift or for yourself!
This 2 hour event will take place on site at the Founder's Inn. You will choose to paint and decorate either a mermaid or dolphin. All mermaids and dolphins are hand-made in Norfolk of durable casting plaster and easily embellished with non-toxic acrylic paints, glitter, fabric, shells, rhinestones, charms or whatever your imagination holds.
Enjoy a 1 1/2 hour tour to see what wildlife is plentiful in our waters! Sightings of bottlenose dolphins, ocean sunfish and rare birds. A dolphin cruise is the essential trip for the both the aquatic enthusiast and the fun seeking vacationer. The 90-minute excursion is narrated by a marine expert who is ready to share their knowledge and answer your questions about the dolphins and the Virginia Beach coastline. What could be more fun than watching dolphins jump and splash in the beautiful Atlantic Ocean?
